Ong Tse Yuen, MEng Mechanical Engineering
The two things I like about Heriot-Watt University are academics and well-being. I believe that the university provided a promising mechanical engineering programme which helped me to develop my engineering knowledge and skills. The university has also provided several self-enrichment programmes such as the Youth Transformation Programme (YTP) and the EmPOWER programme which helped me to develop my communication and leadership skills. These sets of skills that I have been nurturing for the past years are important to be an engineer.
