The Summer Programme
Welcome to Heriot-Watt University Malaysia's Summer Programme, where we offer a unique and exceptional opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the vibrant and diverse culture of Malaysia while expanding your knowledge. Specifically designed for those interested in learning the Malay language and understanding Malaysian culture, our programme provides a comprehensive experience. Throughout the weeks, you will be participating in various activities, including language and cultural workshops, history lessons, and visits to significant cultural and UNESCO World Heritage city and historical sites.
This immersive approach allows you to gain a profound understanding and appreciation of Malaysian national language, customs, traditions, and way of life. The program introduces you to the fundamentals of Malay vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, writing skills, and cultural studies. Through interactive activities and exercises, you'll have ample opportunities to practice and reinforce what you've learned.
